Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Fable account and personal data at any time. This is the same account used in the Fable mobile app (developer: Krishna Agarwal).
Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open Fable and go to Settings.
- Tap "Delete account".
- Sign in again when asked (this proves it is you), type DELETE and confirm.
Deletion starts immediately and cannot be undone. There is no grace period. If you sign up again later with the same phone number or Google account, you get a new, empty account: your old groups, messages and history do not come back.
Want a copy first? Use Settings → Download my data before deleting. We send you a download link that works for 24 hours; we delete the file 72 hours after it is ready.
What happens to your data

What stays, and why

Shared-group expenses stay with you shown as "Former member", with the free-text description and place anonymised. If you left a group earlier, your Me ledger kept only that group's amounts; its notes and receipts were hidden from you.
Withdraw AI consent without deleting
Settings → AI photo & receipt processing turns off AI scanning and AI collage for your account at any time.
Can't access the app?
Email krishnaagarwal.dev@gmail.com from the address associated with your account (or include your phone number), with the subject "Delete my Fable account", and we will erase the account. We aim to complete it within 30 days and respond within 90 days at most. Grievances: [GRIEVANCE OFFICER NAME] at the same address.
