Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Fable account and personal data at any time. This is the same account used in the Fable mobile app (developer: Krishna Agarwal).

Delete in the app

1. Open Fable and go to the Settings tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete my account".
3. Confirm. Your account and personal data are removed.

Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email krishnaagarwal.dev@gmail.com from the phone number or Google email tied to your account, with the subject "Delete my Fable account". We'll verify you own the account and complete the deletion.

What's deleted

• Your profile (name, username, photo), phone number / Google identifiers, payment handles, and your account record.
• Your devices and push tokens.
• Content you created where it isn't needed for others' records (see below).

What may be retained

• Content you shared into a group that other members still rely on (for example an expense or settlement record) may be kept or anonymized so the group's history stays accurate.
• Limited information we must keep to comply with the law or to prevent fraud/abuse.
• Backups and logs purge on a rolling schedule, and uploaded media expires from our servers over time.
